Raised in a construction family, founder and owner Mark Zollinger has over 20 years of experience in the custom home industry, including being self employed as a skilled carpenter for 18 years. His wife, Michelle, assists in the sales of the homes, as well as customer care.

Mark serves on the board and is an executive officer of the Home Builders Association of Wayne and Holmes Counties. In 2004 and 2008, Zollinger Builders was named Builder of the Year by the HBA.
